Fraud prevention and IP addresses
To help ensure fairness and prevent multiple or fraudulent submissions, we may collect and store IP addresses and related technical information (for example device identifiers, browser or OS metadata, timestamps, and activity logs). We use this solely for administration of the Services and Promotions and for fraud and security prevention, we protect it with appropriate safeguards including encryption in transit and at rest where applicable, and we do not use it for advertising or unrelated marketing.
2) How we use information
- Operate, maintain, and secure accounts, profiles, and the discussion board.
- Administer Promotions, verify eligibility, prevent abuse or bots, select winners, and deliver prizes according to the Official Rules.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, spam, security incidents, and violations of our Terms or Community Guidelines.
- Perform analytics to improve the Services.
- Send service and transactional messages like account or security alerts. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
3) Sharing of information
We share personal information with service providers that help us run the Services, for example hosting, security, analytics, and customer support. We may also share information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising in Phase 1. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any required opt-out.
4) Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions and to measure site performance. You can control cookies in your browser. If we add a cookie banner or preferences center, we will link it here.
5) Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations. Fraud-prevention logs, including IP logs, are retained for a limited period appropriate to investigate abuse and protect the platform.
6) Your choices and state privacy rights
- You can access or update your account info in your profile and opt out of marketing emails via unsubscribe links.
- You can request access or deletion by emailing privacy@swept.gg. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights such as correction, portability, and the ability to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising. We will respond as required by applicable law.
- Do Not Track: we do not respond to DNT signals. If a state requires honoring universal opt-out signals for targeted advertising or sales, we will honor those signals if and when those activities apply to the Services.
7) Children’s privacy
The Services are for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

9) International visitors
We are a U.S. company. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws from your country.
10) Changes
We may update this policy. If changes are material, we will give reasonable notice, such as posting an update on this page.
